Fall Session begins September 11
Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Harness the power of “Yes, And” to frame your funny and build your banter. With a focus on basic improv skills, this class develops a student’s ability to listen, collaborate and create on the spot. The result is hilarious and original comedy created and performed on the spot. Students will perform at one or more Excused Absence Nights. Class takes place at ColdTowne Theater.Two sections, Mondays 4 to 5 and Sundays, 1 to 2.
This improv class is for third through fifth graders who enjoy Improv for its social and skill building qualities as well as its comedic potential. Exercises facilitate creating in the moment, taking risks, and nurturing a flexible mindset. High energy and collaborative. Students enrolled in this class will be invited to perform in one or more All Ages Night and in our end of semester showcase.Class takes place at ColdTowne Theater. Two sections, Tuesdays, 4 to 5 and Sundays 2 to 3.
Designed for third through fifth graders who have improv experience. This class invites students to explore scenic improv, to develop strong characters and to build their comedy muscles. Students enrolled in this class will be invited to perform in one or more All Ages Night and in our end of semester showcase.Class takes place at ColdTowne Theater. Meets Tuesdays, 4 to 5:30.
