These high energy, interactive productions empower children to shape the story or sit back and enjoy the show. Customized according to the party’s theme or your child’s interests, each performance is entirely unique.
How does it work?
ColdTowne Theater is a fantastic place to host an event for kids and families. Our cozy, professional theater has plenty of parking and a spacious lobby for games, cake and visiting before and after the show. Feel free to bring food, drinks and decorations.
The Birthday Show!
Our performers are experienced improvisers who love the opportunity to create a story on the spot. We are happy to rely on the spontaneous suggestions of the audience for your show, but we are also delighted to adapt our performance to fit a specific theme. Examples of themes we’ve used in the past include Rock Stars, Circus Animals, Zombies, Fairies and Wizards.
Let us know the age of the target audience and we will tailor our work to fit the group. We are happy to perform for any age group and have experience with audiences from preschool through High School.
Before and After the Show?
Prior to the show, we offer guests the opportunity to learn a series of improv warm ups and games that set the tone for the event and help audience members understand the nature of what they are about to see. However, it’s fine if your group prefers to visit instead.
After the show: Guests normally return to the lobby for cake. Remaining time is used for a dance party in the theater or for socializing throughout the space.
The Basics: ColdTowne Theater is a small venue that can seat up to 45 audience members. Parties tend to work best with no more than 20 participating children, but please feel free to fill the rest of the seats with adults and lap babies!
Parties held at ColdTowne run for 2 hours. You will have access to the space 15 prior and 15 minutes after.
The show itself normally runs about 45 minutes.
Costs range from $325 to $425 depending on cast size.
